Privacy Policy

Meeting.oStaran ("the Service", "we") is a browser-based webinar platform. This policy explains what data we collect when you use the Service, how we use it, and the choices you have. By using the Service you agree to this policy.

Who this applies to

Organizers sign in with Google to schedule and host webinars. Participants join via an invite link and are not required to sign in or create an account.

Information we collect

• Google account info (organizers): when you sign in with Google we receive your name, email address, and Google account ID, used to identify you and secure your sessions.
• Google Drive authorization (organizers): with your consent we request the drive.file scope and store the resulting refresh token so we can upload your webinar recordings to your own Google Drive — including after your session has ended. This scope grants per-file access only to files the Service creates; it does not give us access to your other Drive files.
• Webinar data: titles, descriptions, schedules, permission settings, invite links, and participant display names you or your participants provide.
• Recordings: if you start a recording, the session is recorded and stored briefly in our cloud storage, then uploaded to your Google Drive, after which the temporary copy is deleted.
• Real-time media: audio, video, and screen shares are transmitted during a live session to deliver the webinar.

How we use your information

• To authenticate organizers and operate webinars.
• To store and upload recordings to the organizer's Google Drive.
• To enforce the permission controls organizers set (who may speak, share video, or screen-share).

We do not sell your personal information, and we do not use your Google user data for advertising.

Google API data & Limited Use

The Service's use and transfer of information received from Google APIs adheres to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements. We only request the minimum scopes needed, and Drive access is limited to files the Service creates on your behalf.

Service providers

• Google Cloud — identity (Google OAuth), database (Firestore), and temporary recording storage (Cloud Storage).
• LiveKit — real-time audio/video transport and server-side recording of live sessions.
• Google Drive — final storage of recordings, in the organizer's own account.

Data retention & deletion

Webinar and recording metadata is retained until you delete the associated webinar or ask us to remove it. Recordings live in your own Google Drive and are managed by you there. You can revoke the Service's access to your Google account at any time at myaccount.google.com/permissions. To request deletion of your stored data, contact us at the address below.
